Friendship

Friends are there through the thick and thin. The times you have trouble and the celebrations within. A friend to me is more like my family. A friend is someone who knows you inside and out, knows when your sad and how to brighten your day. Friends are the stupid stunts and memories for a life, the phony arguments that could go on all night, the people with whom you share your thoughts and desires, all of the nights we had spent by the fires. All though I'm still young and more memories are to be made, thanks for your compassion, caring, and aid. My friends are the best and I could wish for no better, I realize this now when my life is so perfect. Thanks for the best, the worst and the rest, you all are my friends and I cannot help but wish for the best. Lets be friends forever and not just a passage. You do you and I'll do me, but in the end let's make it sweet! Old aged with children, crazy in college, these times are the memories with life when it passes. Just so you know you all are the greatest. Thanks for everything you have given me, I hope I can repay the favor. Keep these memories we will always cherish and savor...

Life...

So this is my first real blog post, and I just wanted to talk a little about my life and how great everything is going right now. I am currently a Elementary Education major and love the program I am in. This weekend I actually went out to Rolla to celebrate St. Patrick's day with some of my best friends in the entire world. The things that occur when we are all together are hilarious because so many wild twists and turns always make the nights incredible. It was my friend Andrew's 21st, so that just make the evening twice as great! Now that I am back in Columbia, sleep is definitely in my near future because staying up till 3am creates nights that will always be remembered. I aspire to be a teacher, but if that falls through, a little known fact about me is that I want to be the person that changes the light bulbs at the tip top of skyscrapers because I think that the adrenaline rush would be insane and I absolutely LOVE heights!I am going to go hang gliding next month and then over the summer hope to get my skydiving license so I can officially do it on my own. Last thing I am looking to do with my life is join the peace corps. After SYOSP, I hope to join the fellows program and attain my masters in a year. The plan after that would be to possibly join the Peace Corps and see where life takes me! Well hope that you all have enjoyed reading this, and have a fantastic weekend!! :)

Comments Post

Getting comments on the blog is definitely a cool experience. Knowing that any person who has a blog can leave some form of criticism excites me because it shows that our world is much more closely connected than I imagined. Comments also make me feel good about my writings because it gives me the feeling that other people understand and connect with me! :)

Blog Changes

After looking at many blogs, I thought it was absolutely amazing the types of things people could do with technology. For my blog, I changed around my layout, background, font, and style. I liked the picture of white water rafting better because I felt that was more of who I was because I am definitely an adrenaline junky!
